We were becoming stir crazy and every attempt over Christmas to get some fresh air had been rained off! I should have been glad for the excuse to cosy up and get some hooky, felting or spinning time but we seem to be having such a long wet season that I'm left yearning for some dry and warmer weather.
So yesterday we donned our wellies and headed off to Portreath beach, just a 10 minute drive from home. The sun was shining and we filled our lungs with fresh air as we raced across the beach.
Heaven!
Unusual stones were found and waves were paddled in.
I hope you all got to enjoy some fine weather this weekend too.
Did anyone have any snow?

There's nothing like getting sea air in those lungs! Looks like a fab time was had by all :) No snow for us, we are on the coast too - so it's not often we get anything to speak of.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week, Estelle xx
I'm dreaming of sunshine right this minute, it's freezing! Pop over to my blog, there's something for you :)
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to have such a pretty beach so close to home - it looks like you had a great day! It's snowing hard here...and so cold! Liz x
ReplyDeleteHow fabulous to be able to blow away the cobwebs beside the see! We're covered in fairly thick snow here - providing some picturesque scenes...thinking of you as I think its coming your way....

We had plenty of snow in Wales, it is rather beautiful on the hills and in the trees. Bit of a nightmare getting to work though!
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous pictures! I hate living so far away from the sea!
